Role: Sales Support

High end & commercial design, one of the historic design brands based in South Kensington.

OVERVIEW

Location: LDN £33k

This role sits at the heart of the showroom. It is the operational backbone that ensures projects move seamlessly from order to installation. Working closely with sales, suppliers and clients, you will be the calm, organised presence that keeps everything on track.

You will manage orders from confirmation through to delivery, oversee payments and invoicing, coordinate installations, and support the wider sales team. This is a detail driven position with real client impact, ideal for someone who enjoys process, precision and being central to how things get done.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management

  • Enter and process all new orders accurately within the system.
  • Issue orders to factories and external suppliers, ensuring safe receipt and confirmation.
  • Maintain internal retail sales tracking documents.
  • Check and log factory confirmations, delivery dates and amendments.
  • Monitor production timelines and track critical orders.
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding progress, lead times and any delays.
  • Proactively follow up on improved delivery schedules where required.

Payments and Invoicing

  • Record and reconcile daily deposit payments.
  • Monitor shipment pre alerts and issue invoices ahead of delivery.
  • Ensure balances are settled prior to site delivery.
  • Release orders to the warehouse for dispatch or collection.
  • Close completed orders accurately and maintain filing systems.
  • Process storage invoices where necessary.

Project Coordination

  • Work closely with sales and clients to confirm site access, restrictions and logistics.
  • Ensure warehouse and installation teams are fully briefed.
  • Coordinate installation schedules and transfer all relevant information clearly.
  • Support larger project preparation to ensure a smooth on site experience.

Sales & Client Support

  • Provide showroom support, acting as a first point of contact for clients when the sales team is unavailable.
  • Handle incoming enquiries via phone and email, assisting clients or directing them to the right person.
  • Liaise with shipping companies and arrange documentation for international deliveries.
  • Support showroom operations including stock counts, product updates, and general administrative duties.
  • Keep clients and architects updated throughout the process.
  • Handle quality claims, liaising with factories and tracking resolutions.
  • Prepare credit notes, amendments and system updates where required.

Stock and Showroom Operations

  • Coordinate showroom layout orders with suppliers and track shipments.
  • Process ex stock purchases and liaise with the warehouse on dispatch.

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Confident communication skills with a client-first attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with order systems or CRM software (training provided).
  • A genuine interest in design, interiors, and premium products is a bonus.
