Role: Luxury Furniture Sales

OVERVIEW

Location: LDN £45k + com

An established, design-led interior brand with roots in Italian craftsmanship and a global presence, operating across an international network of showrooms and monobrand spaces. The company specialises in bespoke, high-end interiors, delivering tailored solutions across residential, luxury hospitality, yachting, and aviation sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership & Strategy

  • Take full ownership of delivering commercial objectives, driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Proactively generate and develop new business leads, demonstrating initiative and accountability for personal sales performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance brand visibility, increase footfall, and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitors, their product offering, and market positioning.

Client Experience & Sales

  • Deliver a luxury, highly personalised customer experience, cultivating strong and lasting relationships with clients and industry professionals.
  • Guide clients through the full journey, from initial consultation and product presentation, through design development and proposal, to closing the sale and overseeing delivery and installation.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle end-to-end, including quotations, pricing, documentation, and administrative processes.
  • Prepare detailed project proposals using approved design software where applicable.
  • Promote and sell products based on quality, craftsmanship, design excellence, and emotional value, rather than price.
  • Handle all client communications professionally, including payments, outstanding balances, and any dispute resolution.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation and negotiation skills, with enthusiasm, resourcefulness, and a clear passion for selling.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Oversee project management from concept through to final installation, ensuring seamless execution at every stage.
  • Conduct consistent follow-ups with clients to maintain engagement and ensure satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • Coordinate internally and externally to ensure timely and accurate delivery of all projects.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead by example, fostering a high-performance, design-conscious culture.
  • Motivate, mentor, and support a small team to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and support training and development needs, including participation in training sessions at HQ in Italy and attendance at trade shows and events.

Operations & Showroom Management

  • Maintain exceptional showroom standards, including visual merchandising, presentation, and overall environment.
  • Act as a front-line ambassador for the brand and upcoming concept space during events, showcases, and client interactions.
  • Monitor stock levels and showroom inventory, ensuring accurate reporting and availability.
  • Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and operational procedures.
  • Participate in internal meetings, training sessions, and external events such as trade shows and exhibitions.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills, with a polished and highly client-centric approach to service.
  • Proven experience within a luxury sales environment, ideally across kitchens, furniture, lighting, or fashion.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage the full sales cycle and deliver against targets.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
  • Confident working both independently and collaboratively within a small, high-performing team.
  • Experience with CAD or design software (e.g. Vectorworks) advantageous.
  • A background in luxury interiors or design-led environments is beneficial.
  • A passion for interiors and design-led environments is essential.
