OVERVIEW
A leading luxury interiors showroom is seeking a well-connected and commercially driven Business Development Manager to help grow its presence within the residential design market. This role is ideal for someone with an established network of interior designers, architects, developers and private clients, alongside a proven track record in luxury furniture, interiors or high-end retail sales. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building long-term relationships and introducing high-value clients and projects to the showroom.
Responsibilties
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, architects, developers and private clients within the luxury residential sector.
- Leverage an existing network of industry contacts while proactively identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
- Drive qualified clients and project leads into the showroom, supporting the sales team in converting opportunities into sales.
- Identify and secure opportunities ranging from single-item purchases through to large-scale residential schemes and developments.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience, ensuring the highest standards of service throughout the sales journey.
- Contribute to the overall commercial success and growth of the showroom through proactive business development activity.
- Manage and nurture client relationships from initial introduction through to project completion.
- Demonstrate a consultative and commercially minded approach when engaging with high-net-worth individuals and design professionals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of luxury furniture, interiors, materials and craftsmanship.
- Use market knowledge and industry connections to identify emerging projects, trends and partnership opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience within luxury retail, residential interiors or high-end furniture sales.
- An established network of interior designers, developers, architects and private clients within the residential market.
- Demonstrable success in proactive sales and business development, with examples of growing and leveraging a professional network.
- Strong experience delivering exceptional customer service to discerning clientele.
- Confident working with high-net-worth individuals and design-led professionals.
- Commercially astute, personable and naturally relationship-driven in approach.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage projects and sales processes through to completion.
- A genuine passion for design, interiors, materials and beautifully crafted products.
- Suitable for a mid-to-senior level candidate with a well-established industry “black book” of contacts.
