Role: Furniture Consultant Dealer

We are representing one of London’s leading, design-focused workplace furniture dealerships

OVERVIEW

Location: LDN £70/80k package

A well-established and highly respected business working across furniture consultancy, procurement, installation and circularity. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced furniture professional who enjoys taking a secured project and turning it into a well-resolved, commercially sound and beautifully delivered furniture scheme. This is not a new-business sales role. You will work on projects once they have been secured, acting as a trusted consultant to clients, architects and interior designers throughout the specification, procurement and delivery process.

You

You will lead higher-value and more complex workplace furniture projects from appointment through to installation and handover.

Working closely with the client, A&D teams, manufacturers and internal project, operations and finance teams, you will translate a design brief into a considered, practical and deliverable furniture package.

You will be confident advising on furniture, finishes, budgets, lead times and technical considerations, ensuring every project is aligned commercially while maintaining the quality and design intent of the scheme.

Responsibilities will include

  • Taking ownership of secured furniture projects from early briefing through to completion.
  • Consulting with clients, architects and interior designers on furniture specification, product selection, finishes and budgets.
  • Developing detailed, design-led furniture schemes that are practical, commercially viable and deliverable.
  • Managing complex quotations, specifications, supplier coordination and project documentation.
  • Working closely with project management, operations and finance teams to ensure projects are accurately scoped, ordered and delivered.
  • Coordinating with manufacturers and suppliers around lead times, technical information, samples, amendments and installation requirements.
  • Maintaining excellent client and A&D relationships throughout the delivery process.
  • Setting a high standard internally for preparation, communication, professionalism and collaborative working.

About You

You will already have strong experience within the commercial furniture sector, ideally from a furniture dealership or a high-level design and build business with a significant furniture offering.

You will understand how to navigate the detail behind a furniture project: balancing design ambition with programme, budget, procurement, logistics and installation.

You will be naturally organised, commercially aware and calm under pressure, with the confidence to manage senior stakeholders and multiple moving parts.

You will likely have

  • Proven experience delivering commercial furniture projects for a furniture dealer, workplace consultancy or design and build business.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace furniture, leading manufacturers, finishes and specification processes.
  • Experience working directly with end clients, architects and interior designers.
  • The ability to interpret a design brief and develop an appropriate, design-conscious furniture response.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including budgets, margins, procurement and project risk.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A collaborative, team-first approach and the ability to work closely across sales, projects, operations and finance.
  • High attention to detail, with a genuine interest in furniture, workplace design and the built environment.
