The Role
Working closely with the sales support, project management and administration teams, you will oversee projects throughout the complete sales and delivery process.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing new and existing client accounts
Developing furniture specifications and project solutions
Negotiating and closing contracts
Acting as the main client contact throughout the project
Preparing and delivering bespoke client presentations
Pitching solutions to clients and attending project meetings
Researching and sourcing products for individual project requirements
Liaising with manufacturers regarding specifications, pricing and lead times
Overseeing pricing schedules, quotations and project margins
Supporting tender submissions for new business opportunities
Managing value engineering exercises where required
Overseeing mock-ups, samples, finishes and client sign-offs
Coordinating technical reviews and drawing approvals
Monitoring project programmes, milestones and deadlines
Reviewing supplier order acknowledgements against the agreed specification
Managing client changes following order placement
Liaising with the project management team before and during installation
Attending site walkarounds, supplier events and industry exhibitions
Maintaining strong knowledge of manufacturers, products and market trends
Promoting circular, reuse and low-carbon furniture solutions
Supporting clients with sustainability and net-zero objectives
About You
You will have established experience within commercial furniture, workplace interiors, FF&E or a closely related sector.
You should be comfortable balancing the creative, commercial and technical elements of a project while maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
You will ideally have:
Experience managing commercial furniture or workplace projects
Strong furniture specification and product knowledge
Experience working with architects, designers, contractors and end users
The ability to manage projects from brief through to installation
Confidence preparing quotations, pricing schedules and tender submissions
A strong understanding of margins, costs and commercial negotiations
Experience reviewing specifications, drawings and order documentation
Excellent client presentation and communication skills
Strong organisational skills and close attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
A genuine interest in sustainability, circularity and responsible procurement
You will also be confident using Excel and PowerPoint to produce professional quotations, presentations and project information.
